A little bit about me
Hi! I'm a 3D generalist that specializes in hard surface asset development, environments, and lighting.
I graduated from Red River College in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada in 2011 and earned a diploma in Digital Multimedia Design, as well as a post graduate diploma in 3D Computer Graphics. I also graduated from Winnipeg Technical College in 2007 where I earned a certificate in Web Design.
I’m currently a Lead Lighting Artist at Island Of Misfits Studios(formerly DHX Media) in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It has been my pleasure to be a part of this team since July 2014. Prior to working at IoM I worked on a variety of projects from architectural visualization to industrial designs for online learning programs, along with 1 year of full time employment at an animation studio by the name of Opus Animation(Currently Tangent) back in my hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba. While at Opus I did a bit of almost everything; from set development to layout to lighting and compositing.
I have always enjoyed being a part of a team. Growing up I played basketball competitively from the time I was 8 years old up until my early 20’s. I also worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years, as a line cook. And so as much as I love doing work on the side, I am more than happy to be a member of a team; working towards a common goal together and growing together.
